The 6, 8, 12 and 16 cylinder Perkins 4000 Series gives you the versatility you need in today’s power generation market. The range’s diesel ElectropaK engines/Electro Units deliver 750-2500 kVA and are supplied with or without radiator and air cleaner. This engine has proven reliability in prime and standby installations in all of the key sectors, such as manufacturing facilities, hospitals, and data centers. The 4008 engines have exceptional power-to-weight ratios and compact designs, making them simple to transport and install.
Dependable power

• Individual 4 valve cylinder heads giving optimized gas flows
• Unit fuel injectors ensure ultra fine fuel atomization and hence controlled rapid combustion
• Commonality of components with other engines in the 4000 Series family for reduced stocking levels
• Capable emissions of 1/2 TA Luft (1986)

• Tropical radiator, including water pipes, clips and hoses, fan, fan guards and bolts
• Twin heavy-duty air cleaners – paper element with pre-cleaner
• Changeover lubrication oil filter
• Changeover fuel oil filter
• Immersion heater with thermostat
• Air starters
• Instrument panel

ElectropaK diesel
The ElectropaK diesel engines in the 4012 range come complete with radiator and air cleaner. Models in the range are either turbocharged and air-to-air chargecooled or turbocharged and air-to-water chargecooled.

Economy
Economic and durable, the engines have excellent power-to-weight ratios, as well as outstanding load acceptance and improved emissions. Commonality of components with other engines in the 4000 Series makes replacing parts or upgrading an easy process
